Welcome to the Dannevirke SPCA
Who we are
We speak for those who cannot speak for themselves
Every week the Dannevirke SPCA receives unwanted, injured & stray animals. These animals need loving homes. The Dannevirke SPCA is a purely voluntary organization which receives no government or local body funding whatsoever. We rely entirely on donations, bequests and our own fund-raising efforts for our income. The RNZSPCA has more details on the structure of SPCA.
As well as caring for the animals housed in our animal centre, the Dannevirke SPCA has on-call volunteers who attend to the needs of animals in the Dannevirke and Districts area-- 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Contact the SPCA if you wish to become a volunteer.
